Week 36-5 Keep Tahoe Blue

This was a very fun page to create, and a little different than how I normally do things. I liked the main photo so much I didn't blend it.

All supplies from Anna Aspnes:
Background paper is from ArtPlay Palette H2O. The large photo in the background is simply blended with gradients, brushes and erasers, with a few transfers, brushes and blended papers all from APP H2O around the edges.
Foreground photo was placed and I used large shadows to pop it, then added a frame (from APP H2O) in Lighten mode and pieces from Multimedia Documents (papers in Overlay Mode).

Artstroke and word art also from APP H2O, edge, stitches from Beach Template Album 1D, Multimedia Branches in upper right corner.

The two photos are unenhanced, unprocessed, as taken on my iPhone. The deeper parts of Lake Tahoe really are this blue, although the lake level is suffering greatly in the shallower areas (more about that in coming pages).
It works! Reminds me of a song from the 60s...Blue on Blue...(Bobby Vinton?). I have seen Lake Tahoe, and agree...it really IS that color! Gorgeous page.

Our favorite place to go, Lake Tahoe! We haven't been since 2012, but I can imagine the draught has changed things! This is beautiful!

Gorgeous photo and love the blues! The chevrons and texture add to the mountainous feel of Lake Tahoe! Some day I'll visit!

Awesome beauty and strength in the page and in your photo! Looks like a stunning place to visit!
