Wouldn't the "back to schoolers" of today be astonished to see how dressed up children used to be. A treasure!

Great use of the old school palette. But my, if this is your paternal grandfather (I think that means your father's father) and this was taken in 1905 ... well, you are just a wee babe yourself! What a beautiful photo -- it is truly no wonder I believed the world was only black and white in my youth -- I think color came into my world just as it did for Dorothy. Love the page and the old photos.
