Nothing To Writing

Annas new school kit reminded me of the blue composition booklets that I used as a child. I would scribble my thoughts and doodled for hours in my books. I wrote in my books until I started using a computernever dreaming that one day I would would make a living from my words. So, this quote has always resonated with me. And Ive experience bloodletting as a deadline was looming and the words were not flowing. It wasnt pretty at times! Words on the paper: Help me! Help me! The deadline is tomorrow; I'm blocked and I am bleeding profusely.

Oh, I love this overlay edgeit looks like old cellophane tape. And, of course, the fonts I used were: American Typewriter and Traveling Typewriter.

Thanks for looking!
love that you did this layout with a dark background. Oh to be a writer. Love the layout.

love how that typewriter looks on the dark background. very brooding-which is how i think of Hemingway.

Wonderful match of the typewriter and the quote. I love it. I just used this quote on the back flap of the jacket for my recently published book.

I really admire those with a gift for writing, you are obviously very talented to do this as a profession and your page illustrates the quote beautifully, love the mood you have created with the dark paper!

Well,he certainly was one of the greats... love your dark paper and hints of red!!

This is wonderful, now I want to know more about what you do as a writer. I spent a lot of time with the National Writing Project and teaching writing. Writer's block is real even for kids:)
