The Process
A solid paper from AP Salty Living was selected as the foundation for the page because of the subtle texture. The image was extracted from the photo (too many trees in the background). It was duplicated and the blending mode was changed to hard light with a reduced opacity. A custom shadow was created behind the image. These three layers were placed in a folder. The folder was duplicated and hidden to be used later. An artsy paper from AP Salty Living was clipped to a ModGrunge FotoBlendz mask. These were duplicated and flipped horizontally. Several warm glows were placed behind the mask with the blending mode changed to color. The duplicated folder of the image was turned on, a motion blur was added, and it was resized. The blending mode of the folder was changed to color burn to let some of the color from the warm glow show through. The folder was duplicated again with a reduced opacity. A transfer from Artsy Transfers Vintage Summer was layered on the page (some of the layers were moved or turned off). Lace transfers from AP Salty Living were layered on the page. Embellishments, word art and splatter brushes were added to complete it.
