The Process
I began by seclecting a solid white paper from AP Escaspe as the base of the page. I selected Artsy Transfers Escape_4 and brought in my photo. The photo was duplicated several times and linked together. One of the photos was clipped to the large blue paint layer. The other photos I moved up and down, finding where they best fit. Some layers were turned off, some were filled with with paint, some were moved around. Thats the beauty of the artsy transfers! Once everything was in place, a composite image was made and imported to the page with the paper. The composite image was duplicated and the blending mode was changed to screen, with a reduced opacity to lighten up the image. A frame from AP Escape was layered over the composite photos with the blending mode changed to color burn. A solid blue paper was clipped to a FotoBlendz Overlay. Next the striped paper was clipped. I wanted the blue to show through, so using the magic wand I highlighted the white stripes and deleted them. The papers and the fotoblendz were merged together for one layer, duplicated, flipped horizontally and brought to the left edge of the page. I thought that the page needed some texture, so another solid paper from AP Escape was layered over the solid white paper. The page was completed with word art and embellishments.
