Process:

Right Page: One of the first designs I bought when Anna opened her store at Oscraps, was this set of templates. I love those little butterflies and the beautiful butterfly brushwork on the mask. Essentially, I used the mask, brushes, loop and butterflies to create this page. Behind the mask I added another copy of my photo and used an inverted mask to bring back in some of the photo for the background. For more information about using an inverted mask, see Annas classes at here. I used copies of the photo for the butterflies and brushes.

Left Page: For this side, I placed the frames and splatter brush. I clipped my photos to the frames, added an enlarged copy of the photo on the right below the frames and used a gradient to blend it into the paper. To the right of the frames I placed layers from AT Take Flight as well as additional pieces of lace. I finished the layout with butterflies from another of the Showcase templates, a loop, piece of urban thread, title and journaling.

Thanks for looking:)
Sooo lovely, love the repetition, and the butterflies and loops so perfectly complement the hydrangeas!

I love hydrangeas so to see these two pages was a delight. Love the arrangement of close-ups with the bigger image and the placement of the text. Beautiful page.

Can I ask - I'd really love to learn how to use gradients like that. Can you do it PSE13 I wonder.

I have always loved Hydrangeas, but never had a white one. How wonderfully they blend into the background, and I love the added subtle textures and shadows. Just beautiful!

Very pretty! You are an amazing gardner! Love the subtle color and textures!

Lovely. Those flowers are so beautiful. White hydrangeas? We're going to plant some either this fall or next spring...whenever the proper time to plant them is. Your page is just so refreshing.
