Nothing beats ChinaTown on NewYears!! Neither of us are Asian but when there's a party, parade or celebration involved Nigel and I are always willing to cross ethnic, social and cultural boundries!! I always felt it was my responsibility as a parent to expose him to all the wonderful diversity that this country has to offer. We followed the parade through the streets for about an hour and watched as the Dragon went from store to store and danced as firecrackers were lit. One string of firecrackers was three stories high!!
We then stopped for an authentic Chinese luncheon with foods traditionaly served to bring Health, Wealth and Longevity.
