Anna's AP Downtown encouraged me to rake about in my hard drive for old pics of an Easter trip to NY back in 2007 with our friends Libby and John. It was freezing, as only new York can be with those East Coast biting cold winds howling up the avenues...Brrr! on the last night we popped into a local bar for cocktails; unfortunately the barmaid was very savvy and kept enticing John and Colin to try more and more cocktails by giving them tiny samplers to taste (Libby and I stuck to white wine...) The bottom photograph is the bill, I still have it - we could have bought a small country!!!

I started with the template and reduced in size slightly. I clipped the larger photographs to Fotoblendz and then duplicated so I could experiment with different blending modes which usually end of Colour Burn; Darken and hard and soft light. The large pic of the two of us I still wasn't happy with so I erased part of the bottom using an AP He Brush on 78% opacity. I also erased some of the textured layer from the template so the faces would be more defined. The rest is layering of brushes, transfers and splatter brushes from AP Downtown and Artsy Transfers Downtown. Finished with some word art and a brush framing us, the same brush is framing John and Libby on the way to the Empire State building.
