The Process
I select a solid paper from AP Downtown as the base for the page. Next artsy p 4 was placed on the page. Because I only wanted the brick to show, I added a layer mask and with the gradient tool, faded out the rest of the page. This was duplicated and flipped horizontally for the left side of the page. Downtown FotoBlendz 1_2 was used as a clipping mask for the photo. The mask was duplicated, flipped and the layers were merged. The image was clipped to this. A layer mask was added to the mask and with a soft brush (reduced opacity) the edges were blended into the paper. An ArchiTexture brush was blended into the photo. For the word art, I selected the transform tool > perspective and pulled out the bottom portion of the quote. A brush from AP Downtown was layered under the word art. The blending modes of both layers were were changed to soft light. Splatters, strokes, threadz and elements were added to complete the page.
