Journaling:
The signage and the seal over the mine entrance showed that people were still going into the mine to study the hydrology and remediation. Remember the gold colored sludge still coming from the mine.
On a related note, we returned to the mine another day and (legally) collected the 8" x 8" x 6" rock shown here https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=333258&title=silver-ore&cat=all that we think has several 1/4" veins of silver running through it. We are taking it to a geologist to find out if we are right. It weighs about 35 pounds.
