I saw some photos of the Dalles Mountain Ranch, by Richard Tessari, on my iPhone Photo & Editicng Acadamy Facebook page. They spurred us on to make our trip to Utah more than a get-there-and-back trip. It snowballed into a day in the Palouse on the way down, and following the Volcanic Trail on the way home. This turned out to be our last stop of any significance along the way, and was well worth the wait.
