An old photograph from Sara and Victoria's year in Australia between 2007 and 2008, this is Sara, Michael and Emma...walking in paradise methinks!

I extracted part of the original photograph with the figures and placed on a layer in front of the photograph with the pier which is clipped to a fotoblendz, duplicated with the top layer on hard light at 33% fill. Behind the figures are a selection of overlays and transfers from the Artplay layered one on top of the other and then I used the frame directly behind the figures with the layer on colour mode 53% and part erased to blend into the background.

this is just delightful! love the perspective of the extracted photo with the boards leading away, and the hard light filter almost makes the background houses look cartoonish. wonderful color and perfect little embellishment!
