The Process
I selected a solid paper from the new Artplay Palette Oasis kit as the base to build the page. The photo was originally a slide that I scanned and starting to detoriate. It was converted to black and white. It was clipped to transfer 3 with transfer 8 layered under it. Using the technique in AnnaBlendz 2 Playing with Light, a cool foto glow was clipped between the photo and transfer with the blending mode changed to color. I placed all these layers into a folder for easier manipulation. Frames from AP Splash and AP Oasis (duplicated and blending mode changed to color burn with a reduced opacity) were layered under the folder. The cluster was built and a brush from Oasis 1 was added. Transfer 5 was layered on the top left corner, duplicated, off set and blending mode changed to hard light. Fish from AP Splash and Oasis 1 were added. A warm glow (blending mode changed to color) was layered under the transfer. A Threadz was added. The page was completed by adding an artstroke, more transfers and a title.
