The Process
I began by layering 3 different FotoBlendz Overlays on the 12x12 page, two vertical and one horizontal. Different artsy papers and solid papers from AP Summery were clipped to the overlays. The papers were duplicated and the blending mode changed to either multiply (if I wanted it darker) or hard light (if I wanted it brighter). Next I layered my photo over the horizontal overlay, added an inverted layer mask (see Anna Blendz 4 Inverted Masking tutorial) and began brushing back the beach part of the image. The photo was duplicated and the blending mode was changed to hard light with a slightly reduced opacity. A cool glow was layered between the two photos with the blending mode changed to hard light and a opacity reduced slightly. A Magic Sparklez (inverted, changed to white) was layered over the top photo with the opacity reduced (see AnnaBlendz 2 Playing with Light tutorial). I layered two MultiMedia Suns over each other. The blending mode for time piece in MultiMedia Suns 1_1 was changed to darken, which reduced the white face of the clock. A Warm Glow was layered under the suns and the blending mode changed to color. Another Warm Glow was clipped to the flip flops of the charm to make them gold instead of silver. Summer WordArt and a label word from AP Summery were added, recolored and the blending mode changed to soft light. A button, splatters and a title were added to complete the page.
