My maternal grandfather - hard days working in a quarry!
I extracted my Papa from the photograph then clipped the original to a fotoblendz duplicated twice, both on colour burn mode. the frame and ribbon element were also set to colour burn mode. The rest of the look is achieved by layering transfers in between layers to soften the look.
Fantastic heritage layout with your awesome extraction. Love the use of color burn for dominance on certain element. It really brought of the OOB technique of your Dad's extraction. My Father was in the military and worked on the Panama Canal also doing brutal work that tremendously shortened his life. So this is a true rendering of what our ancestors endured at home and far away.
