Journaling reads: Cora thought it was so neat to be able to get inside of the middle of the hollowed out tree trunk until she noticed the bugs crawling around inside the decaying wood. She immediately burst into tears, and quickly jumped out.

My Process: I began with the new ALTemplate 193. I added the two photos to the clipping masks in the frames. I then used inverse masking to add the large photo, blending it into the white area of the template. I then began changing the colors of the various paint and stain layers of the template. I added the elements along the right of the two framed photos, and then decided to reduce everything on the page, moving it up to the upper left corner of the page. I added the title, carefully over-lapping the two words. I added a stroke and a custom shadow. I then added the page info and the journaling, working it around the floral sprig. I added the urban threadz, and some artstrokes. I used the soft green paper as my background paper, but I also liked the slightly crumpled white paper, so I placed the white paper above the green, and changed the blend mode of the white to multiply. I finished up by adding the embossed texture from the ArtsyTransfers Blessing (above the framed photos).
