Process: I first applied different filters to two copies the photo of the flowers in the pitcher in order to give them a different look. The smaller photo is as it came out of the camera. Next, I opened up template_4 from Anna's beautiful new set and dragged all the layers to a new blank document. Then I clipped my photos to the template's fotoblendz mask and frames. I blended transfers_2 and 7 to the larger framed photo. I turned off the edge and adjusted the blend mode and opacity of several layers. I recolored the stains and switched out the wildflower on the left for a different flower. I extracted the peony leaves using the magic wand tool, gave the leaves a custom shadow and placed them below the frame on the left. I blended the photo on the lower right with a layer from Artsy Transfers Sage_4 as well as transfer_2 from the AP. I placed a copy of transfer_2 below the frames but above the fotoblendz mask. I added a couple more layers of script, a word label and a butterfly. I gave the wildflowers an engraved style as well as my title. I finished my journaling and added the dates for the photos.
I adore peonies. Maybe is was the peonies we had in our garden growing up that made me love this hue of pink - not sure, but I love the blending of this Linda - really wonderful layout.
The blending of the large peony photo is beautiful and the soft background is gorgeous with the photos. Love the little hand touching the flower in the bottom right!
