I wanted to create something quite different after seeing some of the inspirational designs in the Somerset Digital Studio Spring Magazine which I was very lucky to win. Some of the elements and overlays I have chosen have enabled me to give this page a grungy effect.

Process.
I started with a strong colorful paper from Studio Manu Turnbacktime. No need to blend this paper as it has a great contrast already as it is.

The main image, an edifice from Anna's Architecture Brushes was given a pattern overlay and a drop shadow effect. I tried to emulate Ann's 3D effect "Art Life" https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=330655&title=college-bridge&cat=all but turned out nothing like Ann's awesome page. It was done in a separate document then transferred to the main document.

I placed the AASPN_MultiMediaArt1_5 transfer below the Architecture and treated with a gradient overlay. The butterfly was also treated with the same gradient overlay.

Finished by placing stitches and elements where best suited for the concept. I don't know where the lady peeping from the window came from, just one of those unexplained anomalies I guess
