the photo was masked using the ArtsyPaint No.6 brushes. the taped textures, artstroke, splatter, and bokeh are all added over the image. two of the bokeh layers were changed so that the colors were better suited to the image. the background color was a solid layer of color (created by filing a layer with the paint bucket) and the app beautiful solid blended over that layer on multiply. there is also a tiny white splatter effect over the bg that i made using a noise filter.
