The Process: I dont seem to get the chance to do the Anna ColorChallenge, but am always in awe of the wonderful layouts everyone creates, so this week I pushed myself to do so. I began with a card stock from AP ArtLife, which I changed to the pale blue of the challenge. I dragged in two of the ArtsyTransfers Artsy. The one which had a large white paint area I used for the masking of the photo which worked perfectly. I placed the other transfer on the same edge, but on top of the photo, so that a portion covers the lower left corner of the photo. I then began modifying the various layers to bring in the colors needed for the challenge. Some of the layers of the transfers were duplicated to intensify the color (done more so for the white splashes). I brought in a thin white frame, and duplicated it, and scaled it down just a bit to create a double frame. I added the banner, and then used the magic wand tool to isolate the white flags of the banner, changing them to the pale blue. I added a few other brushes from other kits (splatters and stains), modifying their colors, and then added the stitching, word strip, art strokes, letters on the banner flags, Taped Textures, and page info.
