Process: I began this layout with a photo and a frame from the new AP, ArtLife. I placed the flower, ribbon (recolored) and word label from the AP to create a small cluster for the frame. I grouped the frame, photo and elements together. Next, I dragged all the layers of ALT No. 190 on to my document. I turned off all the layers except for the frames, artstrokes, journaling box and title. I placed my framed photo group over one of the templates frames and adjusted it a little before turning the two frames off. I added 2 copies solid paper_2 from the AP, flipped one and blended the two copies together. Next, I began turning back on layers and adjusting their position. I recolored the dotted paint layers and shifted them to the left. I moved the artstrokes from the ALT up in the layers panel. I added a taped texture to the right of my framed photo. Using a paint layer from the template as a guide, I placed the layers from Artsy Transfers ArtLife below the template layers that I had moved and adjusted to create a stronger mat for my framed photo. I moved the splatters,artstroke, texture and stains of the artsy transfer above the template layers. For my title, I erased part of the Create WordArt_5 and placed it just about in the same position as the template. Finally I added my journaling and dates.
