On Saturday I was anxious to get to the market right by Custom House in the Haymarket. But eating my breakfast in my room, I enjoyed the views down to the harbor. I actually went out twice, once when the area around Faneiul Hall was almost deserted and later when the crowds were enjoying the sun.Stocking up on fruits and some veggies is what I usually get for breakfasts . On my 2nd trip out, I had the requisite slice of pizza. Between those two trips, I heard a Beantown Worshop at CH and decided to buy a 2-day ticket on one of the hop-on buses. I wouldnt be able to get my Sr. Charlie Card til Monday, so having a ride round Boston sounded perfect. While I know the city pretty well, its nice to be seated and driven once in a while.
Later in the day, I finally went over to Marias in the North End for a sfogliatella amidst a crowd of women on a girls weekend . They had no idea what they wanted and made me laugh. I was ready for an early night after Friday nights Wine & Cheese event.
