I saved my daughter's proms dresses hoping some day that there would be a little girl that would play dress up. I'm so lucky to have two granddaughter's that loved wearing these gowns. (I was always the maid that served the tea and cookies and cleaned up after them.) Now they are growing up and shopping for their own special dresses. Where has the time gone?

The Process
I selected a solid paper from AP Art Life for the background. I extracted the background from the photo and created a custom shadow, then layered frame 1 from AP Art Life behind it. Next I layered overlay 1 from the kit behind the frame. I added the taped textures (blending mode changed to soft light and duplicated several times) to the bottom of the gowns to blend the image in more. The same overlay from the kit was added and rotated with a reduced size. Word art, label words, paper flowers, buttons, buckle, a thread, magic sprinklez and an overlay were aded to complete the page.
