Journaling reads: Both you girls have so much fun when you get together. You dont have to have anything planned, yet you find something fun to do - so silly, and fun loving. You can spend hours taking selfies, making faces for the camera. I have to chuckle when I look through them all, recounting the giggles as you shot each photo. You love the pout, and to snarl, to distort your mouth, or make your eyes big. I dont quite get it, but I know you are having fun, and that is what counts. I have to admit that I keep them all, but I tend to scrap the less extreme selfies. They still show your individuality, yet are not too extreme. What do you expect - remember - Im a mom!

The process: This new ArtPlay is so much fun to play with. I ended up creating a base for the photos by layering the many transfers from the kit scaling the, rotating them, and making portions out. I blended both photos unto the transfers, and then duplicated the photo, and placed the top layer of each photo on blend mode screened, which lightened up the image a bit. I then lowered the screened photo layer down to about 30%. I added the WordART, recoloring it, and then added the journaling. I love the deep textures of the new Taped Textures, so I added a number of them along the left and top edges above the transfers. I wanted to intensify some of the color and textures, so I added some of the Simple FotoBlendz along the top and left sides of the page, and placed them on blend mode Overlay. I finished up by added a few art strokes from both AP ArtLife and AP Sage, along with the few elements, and then used one frame, slightly tilted, on the larger photo, placing it under one of the transfers.
