Coachella
Created for this week's AnnaLift, with inspiration by AnikA68. I always try to do a similar lift as the original page, because I am always so amazed at how different each page looks despite using the same elements.

I was a bit upset when Rachel got home from her first big trip away from home, as she failed to bring very many photos. I ended up getting most of the photos from other friends she went to the concert with (thank goodness for facebook)!
Journaling reads: Rachel & Aubreys first year at Coachella. It was also Rachels first time on her own, not having to answer to her mom and dad. I stressed over things, but I knew she was level headed enough to make good decisions. She celebrated her 21st Birthday there as well. A group of over a dozen kids went, and camped on a number of lots, and they so totally enjoyed themselves. I just wish she took PHOTOS!!!

The Process: I began with an artsy paper from AP Authentic. I added the photo, and then opened up a number of the Artsy Transfers from Spring Showers. I dragged in a variety of layers from a number of the different transfers, looking mainly for the stains, and splatters. I arranged them mainly under the photo. I then started working on those different layers, playing around with their blend modes and colors until happy with the look. I added the Big Word, the MultiMedia Flower (swapping out the definition portion of the flower with another. I added the the banner, changing the color to match my dds red top. I added the letters LUV to the banner, and used the letters to mask out the area, leaving a void in the banner. I added the glitter C, and the string and key. I then added the title, adding a deep shadow to it, and then reduced the opacity of the title text just a bit. I added the journaling and was done!!!
