Journaling:
The best thing about the museum was the hummingbird aviary, where building of one nest had just started, and birds were brooding on others. There were babies waiting for their mother to feed them. We learned that hummingbirds rely on spider webs in their nest building.

Beautiful LO and interesting info about hummingbirds. Guess I shouldn't be so diligent in removing spiders. Not sure the grand kids will agree. But, we do enjoy the hummingbirds. Thank you for the info.

love the hummingbird photos! love the bits of spider's webs. awesome page. last time my sister and I were there walking at the museum we saw a free roaming coyote.

Lovely page, I did not know that little tidbit about the nest building. I am constantly knocking down webs from my sundeck, perhaps I should stop!! ... Naww!!

what a wonderful opportunity to visit this aviary.
i like how the shape of the cluster on the left mirrors the shape of the photo cluster of the right .... love the little spider that goes so well with your journaling.
