The Process
I began by extracting my photo and creating two custom shadows, one behind the image and a cast shadow. I placed the image and shadows in a group folder. I could have made a composite image, but wanted to be able to adjust if needed. I imported the folder to a 12x12 page with a solid paper from AP Spring Showers. I added a Light Leak over the shadow (blending mode changed to color burn) to give more texture and dimension. I layered several transfers, an artstroke and brushes from AP Spring Showers and a transfer from AP Serenity onto the background. Next I added a frame behind the image and added label words from AP Spring Showers and AP Storm and some embellishments. A MultiMedia Umbrella was added (the red and blue paints were adjusted in the Hue/Saturation filter to match the raincoats). Bokeh 2 (blending mode changed to color burn) was layered above the label words. Word art from WordArt Spring 3 was added to complete the page.
