Process: This is such a beautiful palette; it reminded me of photos I made in February at Little Corona Del Mar Beach. I chose one in which I actually captured a seagull flying. Before bringing the photo on to a new document, I used Topaz Labs to give the photo a painted look. Next I created a sketch of the photo. I then dragged those layers over to a new blank document. I added an inverted mask and used brush_6 from AnnaBlendz Artsy Brushes No. 4. See see Annas video
AnnaBlendz No. 4 Inverted Masking for more information on using inverted masks. Once I was satisfied with the texture, I duplicated the photo: one on color dodge, the second on multiply and the top copy on overlay. I created a composite to use with mask_5 of WaterColor FotoBlendz 6. I layered two copies of the new LightLeaks above. Above the photo, I placed overlay_1 from the AP. Next, I extracted the seagull in my photograph and gave him a drop shadow. On the left side of this page I placed part of the masked photo from the left page. In addition, I placed an art stroke, four layers from ALT 187, LightLeak_1 as well as some layers from Artsy Transfer Break Away_2. For the photo on the right, I used layers from Artsy Transfers Break Away_2, 3 and 4 as well as two LightLeaks. For information about using Annas transfers, there are three videos on Annas YouTube channel:

link 2 and
link 3. Finally since these two pages are meant to be viewed together, I added a title to extend the title on the left page, my journaling, a word label and clock.
