The Process
Because I was making a double page layout, I opened both pages (A and B) of FIDT 25 and then selected arrange > tile in the window menu of photoshop so that both pages were visible at the same time. I like to work this way when doing a double page layout. It helps me to watch for balance and continuity. I rotated page B so that the majority of the photos would be horizontal. I selected artsy paper 3 from AP Family as my background. I clipped my photos to the photo masks and changed out two of the frames for warped frames from Warped Frames 1. On several of the photo masks I clipped pieces of paper from AP Family and then layered Family Word Transfers 2 and Family WordMix 1 quotes on them. I clipped glows from Stained Glows 1 and Warm Glows 2 to the "family tree" and changed the blending mode to color. I added flowers from MultiMedia Spring 2 to both pages and houses from MultiMedia Homes 1 and AP Homes to both pages. Stitches, branches, tapes, buttons, and charms were added to complete the page.
