still experimenting with this graphic/retro style.
it's fun and usually comes together quite quickly (which i am really enjoying).

the photo is clipped to multiple artsy fotoblendz clipping masks. i generally arrange all of the mask layers in a shape i think i might like and then do the clipping. these masks have some terrific lines! the circles are "drawn" with the marquee tool (hold down the shift key on a pc to create a circle as opposed to an ellipse) and then filled with either purple or yellow. the two larger purple circles are set to color burn. shadows were added to three of the circles. there is also a very slight drop shadow on the bottom layer mask. i added the splatter over the other layers, then finished with the title and date.
