Journaling reads: This car is owned by very dear family friends. As far back as I can remember, Tim worked on restoring the car. It was one of the first cars to go around the Brooklands Motor Race track (England). Why is that significant?
because Brooklands was the first race track for cars in the world. Therefore this car was one of a few first ever racing cars. When Tim isn't playing with it, it is on show at Brooklands Museum which is 10 minutes from where he lives. On this day we visited, he had just got it out. Amazingly and very kindly, he let the boys sit in it and took them for a drive.
