The Process
I used the phone app Brush Stroke to give the photo an oil painted look. Then I imported it to a 12x12 page with solid paper 5 from Artplay Palette Revel as the background. I clipped the photo to transfer 2 from AP Revel, duplicated the photo and changed the blending mode to soft light. I also clipped a warm glow to the photo and changed the blending to color burn and reduced the opacity slightly. I then duplicated transfer 2 (unclipped it) and resized it and placed it below the photo. Watercolor Balloons were added, duplicated and the the blending mode changed to color burn to increase the intensity of the color. I applied the same technique to the stars after they were colored. The stained overlay from the kit was recolored by using the hue/saturation tool. Word art, the multimedia arrow, and elements were added to complete the page.
