I used as a focal image a beautiful portrait subject and I transferred it to black and white and colored with watercolor techniques.
I used the artsy transfer daffodil #4 as a coloring watercolor elements over the image,
creating the blush effect on the face and illusion of shadows.
I used a number of stroke to create a contrasting effect,
these brush strokes have an amazing intensity in black that is very hard to achieve with any watercolor technique creating a framing effect in distinctive points of the LO.
I use a background paper with muted colors with a lot of textures on the right side of the LO
to compensate the positioning of the focal image.
I added to the forehead of my subject a brush stroke to create the illusion of a headband,
I used on the headband stroke the eraser tool to be able to see some of the hair that is flowing over the face.
