Process: For the artsy side of these two POTD pages, I was inspired by Moniques tutorial and a video on using the QST tool to create silhouettes, available at Scrapaneers. I created a silhouette using the quick selection tool from a photo of my granddaughter. I used the same tool to extract her boots. Below her is a copy of the photo with an inverted mask on which I brought back in just a little of the ground. Next I began working on the background. I used two different camera fotoblendz masks to mask one photo. Below those photo layers I placed layers from artsy transfer_5. I recolored one of the stains. I moved the splatters and artstroke up above the photos. Above the .psd transfers, I placed a stain and transfer from the mini palette Honor. Above the background photos is the artstroke from this palette. I also added a splatter from transfer_4. I attached the little bows to her hair to balance the pink boots along with the button and some threads. Then I finished my journaling and added the title.
Your blended page looks so nice, for the 2nd part of the two page spread. I like how you show the pages. Separately and together. Need to figure out how to do that.
