Process | I began this page by clipping my photos to the mask (FB Overlays No 3). Next i placed my artsy background paper (recolored it slightly by adjusting the hue). Next i used brushes to blend my photo (AnnaBlendz No. 3). Next i began adding transfers. Lots of various transfers. I added a few textured transfers from APP Behold. I changed the blending modes to multiply and moved them around the page to where I liked them. I erased the parts of the transfers that I didn't like. I added some word art and recolored it to match my paper. Finally I added the embellishments and my journaling.
Heather - I'm in tears too - maybe its because its so soon after Mamaw and doing the same thing - but your words hit everything I felt - your page and art and the time you have with your mom is extra special - enjoy it - make the best of it on bad days - and know in your heart - you are so doing what you need to be doing. When its really tough try to be good to your self - it will help carry you through the day!!!!
Hi Heather! Beautiful layout and I cant tell you how much I believe it's truly a blessing to be able to do so. My mum is sick but she is in India and I am here in Mexico ... I do not have this opportunity ... When I am in India, I try to make the best of it but I know it's just not enough.... Thanks for sharing this personal n super sweet layout.
What terrific photos to document this stage! I love how you've created such a beautiful page and beautifully told story about something that is so hard to capture and often not told.
