I have a few flowerbeds in my backyard and they actually thrive inspite of my brown thumb. But the most prolific flower is the dandelion. I love these yellow beauties and refer to them as stars in the grass.

The Process
I first selected a solid paper from AP Daffodil and imported it to a 12 x12 page. I extracted the dandelion by using the selective tool. It wasn't a very clean extraction so I selected the paint daubs in the filter menu to blend in the edges more. I created a custom shadow behind the dandelion and layered transfer 1 from AP Daffodil behind the shadow. I then layered the photo frame from the kit and a frame from Urban Threadz Framed 1 under the transfer. For the background photo of my yard, I clipped it to a mask from Camera FotoBlendz 1, added a layer mask and brushed out some of the edges. I then duplicated this again and moved it to the right to expand the view. I added several brushes from MultiMedia Spring 1 with a slight drop shadow to add more dimension. Elements, a ribbon, transfers and word art were added. (I erased some of the words, leaving just the word star, from Light WordArt 1.
