I love the time in which women wore hats!
Journaling reads: RPPC taken at the San Ysidro/Tijuana border crossing around the 1930s. I love that although the women have sombreros, not one of them took off their own hats to put one on, yet every man had his on.

The Process: I began with an Artsy Paper from AP Arrive. I added the photo frame and attached the photograph to it. I then duplicated the photo, and enlarged the size of it, placing it behind the framed photo, I used inverse blending techniques to blend it unto the page, reducing the opacity to about 40%. I added the various elements to the lower right of the page, and then added the scriptTease elements throughout. I added the title, adding a stroke and shadow. I then added the Travel USA Map brushwork, placing it under the title. I added the BigWord Travel in the lower half of the page, and then added the journaling. I finished up by adding additional transfers and TapedTextures, as well as two edge overlays, masking portions of it out. I added the stitching, and was DONE!
