The Process
I selected a solid paper from Anna's new AP Arrive as the base to work from. For the main photo I duplicated it, converted the top photo to black and white and changed the blending mode to hard light. I added a layer mask and erased around the sunglasses to let the color section show through. I merged these layers and then clipped them to a brush from AP Arrive. A frame from the kit was layered below the photo. Several transfers (opacity reduced) were clustered behind the photo also. I added the beach photo to the bottom portion of the page and changed the blending mode to hard light and reduced the opacity to 80%. I duplicated the photo and changed the blending mode to soft light and reduced the opacity to 50%. These two layers were merged and a layer mask was added and with a soft brush I hid the hard edges. Several transfers from AP Arrive and AP Ocean Cove were layered over the photo with blending modes changed and opacities reduced. Tape, a postage edge overlay, elements, and word art were added to complete the page.
OHHHH Miki, I adore, adore this LO -- luv the blended photo and the top photo as well, gorgeous colors, ~ I may have to lift this page, pinned for sure ~ gorgeous:)

Hahaha, love the story behind the photo. That are a lot of miles talking about going to the beach

Beautiful page, love the reflection in the shades and the big blended photo.

The reflection in those glasses is way cool. Love this page. Jealous you are at the beach. :)

Woohoo! Those glasses are all the more outstanding with your otherwise understated color scheme.
