We took a 14 mile bike ride through the Everglades. At first I was a little anxious seeing all the alligators (60 in all), but the shutterbug in me took over the scaredy cat side, and I began clicking away. One alligator was so close to the path that we almost ran over him!

The Process
I selected a solid paper from AP Traveler, layered a solid paper from AP Document above it and changed the blending mode to soft light and reduced the opacity a bit to make the paper brighter and to add some more texture. I clipped the bike photo to a camera fotoblendz mask and changed the blending mode of the mask to color burn. Then I duplicated my photo and changed the blending mode to hard light and reduced the opacity. I clipped the alligator photo to a camera fotoblendz (blending mode changed to color burn) and then layered a stained glow over the photo and changed the blending mode to color and reduced the opacity. An alligator image from Animals Down Under was subtly blended into the page. Transfers from AP Document were layered and blended (color burn) were added below the photos. A bicycle from MultiMedia Bicycles 1 was recolored and the blending mode was changed to color burn. An overlay from ScriptTease Travel Overlays was added, recolored and blending mode changed to soft light. Elements, word art, label words were added to complete the page.
