The Process
I selected an artsy paper from AP Family as the background for the page. I duplicated the photo and changed the bottom layer to black and white and changed the blending mode of the top photo to linear burn and reduced the opacity. I then duplicated all layers and merged them, flipped the photo horizontally and added a transfer from AP Tapestry (blending mode changed to color burn) and then resized it to be a bit larger. I added arrows, buttons, stitching, wooden alphas, word art, tape and a script tease brush to complete the page. For more details see Anna's blog post Anna's blog post.
Great blog post Miki and a superb page, I love the processing you have done on the photograph and the repetition which works so well on the page, I'm going to have to try this technique!
