Last week there was a rather large fast moving fire just to the west of us. We are experiencing a very dry summer and the fire risk is high. The colourChallenge palette just seemed to fit in with the oranges and blue-greys of the photos i had taken.
I achieved the look with a number of blending modes applied to the background papers and photos, and left the framed ones alone. the looping artstroke was to try to highlight the helicopter and monsoon bucket hidden in the smoke.
