Process: I am using the same solid paper from ArtPlay Winter Sunrise for the January pages. After bringing in the paper, I imported my photo. As the tree branches were actually taken against a blue sky, I used the replace color tool to turn it white. I didnt like what happened when I tried multiply blend mode on my photo, so I used a layer mask to create a diagonal gradient and changed the opacity to 75%. I duplicated the layer, without the mask, and changed the blend mode to color burn at 100%. I placed a cool glow just below the tree and reduced the opacity. I finished my journaling using the same format that I used on my previous January pages and added the dates for the photo and journaling.
