Process: I started with a solid background and placed the photo and a recolored brush along the side. I changed the blend mode for the photo to Darken and did adjustment layers for Hue/Saturation to get rid of a lot of the yellow skin. On the top of these, a copy of the photo with an adjustment layer for Color, because I wanted to bring back some colors from the original photo that disappeared when I sat the blend mode to Darken earlier. I then added a transfer from ArtsyTransfers Love Story over the photo and changed the layers with stains, splatters and paints into a various of blend modes. I also erased parts of these from the photo. I ended with some embellishments and a wordstrip.
