This is Cora with her (as she says it) Bestie Friend. Now, of course, each friend of hers is her BESTIE! but at four years old, thats how it goes. She and her bestie are sitting on a boat, each with their own Captains Cap so cute.

The Process: I began by blending the photo into the background paper. I then placed a number of transfers from the new AP Memorable, and one from AT Winter Sunrise (freezing some of the layers). I placed a number of the new ArtsyStains as well, changing their color and blend modes through the page. All these items were placed under the photo layer. I added the Faded Words, and the MM Frame. I duplicated the photo, clipping it to the frame clipping mask. I then faded the original blended photo just a bit. I duplicated the photo in the frame, and then placing it above the frame invert masked it, painint back in the the portions that extended beyond the frame. I added the banner, and a loopdaloop, and added an anchor to the end of the loopdaloop. I then took the Anchor brush from AP Find My Way 2, and changed its color to the same as the background paper, and used the emboss filter. I placed this under the little anchor. I added the text by the anchor and then added the title. I finished up by adding the brush that looked like folded/torn paper, and placed the button by it. Because the brush was transparent, I had to mask out a portion of the button to make it look like it was under a flap of paper. I then added the edge overlay, changing it to blue.
