After making sure that we had all our things and the car was loaded out front, we waited for our landlord to return the keys. It was a brief exchange as they seemed anxious to be done. Just as well, as I had a few complaints that werent worth trying to explain.Getting out of Turin was never fun.
We planned a leisurely drive off the autostrada eastward to Milan. The road took us through sleepy farmland but with a few towns. As a town clock was striking 11am it seemed a good time to take an espresso break as well as a potty break. At this homey little cafe, filled with locals, the toilets were out back and it was warm & sunny enough to think of the approaching Easter holidays. I enjoyed seeing the food in the little grocery and decided I had to have one of the standard Easter pastries - early. A colombinathe easter dove. Then back on the road to Malpensa and explain why we had a different car!
