Epiphany, Epiphany or revelation from the Lord (Solemnitas Epiphaniae Domini in Latin) is a Christian holiday that is celebrated every year on January 6 and which one the Biblical event (Matt. 2: 1-18) commemorates the Magi which saw a rising star and then the king of the Jews went searching. They arrived in Bethlehem and found Jesus there, the newborn King of the Jews. Probably here alluded to the vision of Balaam the seer in Moab who beheld a star out of Jacob (Numbers 24:17). The wise are Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar called.
