MultiStitched by Anna Black&White No. 1 [old]

Notes:
Book design does not lend itself to dividing horizontally into thirds, and especially not to placing key material in the center of the page(s). So I decided to place the photo in a more appropriate spot and repeat it on either side. The repeated version took well to Filter) Pixelate) Mosaic. I used paper texture from ALT 89 color burned over the mosaic. The main photo is treated with Boss Emboss from Flaming Pear and Snap Art from Alien Skin. My photo didn't have a strong horizontal line, so I used B&W multistitching.

The "Nonsense," But Alas! labels refer to the fact that these are not vegetables at our house, just [art for art's sake]. Turnip means "turn up your nose," we said as kids, and not to eat them.
nice design, I like how the colours of that dreaded turnip come back in the mosaic

I love your horizontal design, ironic isn't it that we look for the rule of thirds in our photos, but not inside of books. This looks great! Your turnips make a wonderful photo!

this is awesome! We used to use the exact phrase for "turnip" and we did not eat them either! love the colors!

Love the mosaic design and how it compliments the photo! I don't think I've ever eaten a turnip! Great page!

We all adore turnip with haggis and potatoes - neeps (turnip) and tatties - it's a Scottish thing, especially in January when we celebrate Burns night! Loving the way you have turned your dreaded veggie into such a wonderful work of art!!
