I found this photograph in amongst Colin's family photographs, maybe friends of his Mum and Dad but he has no idea who the couple are; looks like it was taken in the early fifties. I love the whole scene of the woman knitting away and the expression on the guy's face LOL!!! - just had to scrap it!
The photograph was a but faded so I put a half tone filter on it and then duplicated a couple of times with the usual hard light, soft light mode. The transfers from AP Thrive are layered behind the extracted figures, some on colour mode. The frame is actually square so I just stretched in out to give me a rectagular frame. Last I added sttitching and a quote:
Love your whole story even if it hasn't been the perfect fairy tale... :)
Love the photo! An expression we used to see often but no more. And your quote is fabulous. Where you covered his mouth, he looks like a different person. And I love your placement of the mm arrows.
Wonderful photo. I just love these heritage photos. Also love how you scrapped this page, so pretty! You always make such creative pages, love that! Great extractions and I like the arrows and the stitches.
