The brushes I use are watercolor brushes that I downloaded from Oviant art website.... look for a brush with a wide surface and various tones and a rough edge. I use very few brushes, I think if you use the brush for a while you get to know its potential, same brush over an over but change its settings, try to get to know your brush. HTH. Ann
