Journaling reads: We visited the Lions, Tiger & Bear Sanctuary in Alpine, during the cold spell that went through So. California at the end of 2014. Cora loved being able to get close to the burro. She was so cute in her pink rain boots and her little knit cap.

As soon as I saw this new Artsy paper from Annas new kit, I knew the photos I would use. I blended each photo unto white areas of the Artsy Paper. I placed the photos on Blend Mode Hard Light. I then duplicated each photo, and placed it back on the Normal Blend Mode, and reduced the opacity to about 60%. I added the frame under the blended photo on right left, and masked out portions of the frame around the burros face, and Coras boots. I added a variety of brushes and transfers, along with elements from the kit. I wanted to emphasize the dusty mauve, so I took the blue bow, and changed its color. I took the beads, and placed them on each side of the paper, but then duplicated them, and placed them on blend mode Darken, which removed the white. I scattered the beads throughout both sides of the page. I added additional texture using transfers from the new AP and from the Spackled Texture pack. I used a brush from ArtsyPaint to add a touch of pale blue to the left of the layout to mimic the color on the right. I added the title and journaling.
